Vintage Albumens
When a vendor is selling a vintage photograph and they claim it is a albumen how do they know? Anyway to tell?

I knew there would be a wise arse! he, he ;-)

Albumen is an old process that used egg whites and metal salts. It fell out of favor as faster papers made from platinum and silver became more available.
